1999  Relocation to Berlin; commencement of doctorate in art history focusing on medieval Persian miniature painting.

2001  First internships at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin: Der fliegende Holländer with Harry Kupfer and La Bohème with Lindy Hume.

2002-2005  Seminal professional experiences at the opera: internships (Rinaldo, Opéra National de Montpellier, Nigel Lowery and Amir Hosseinpour; Götterdämmerung, Dresden Semperoper, Willy Decker), extra (Staatsoper Berlin), interpreter for Ursel and Karl-Ernst Herrmann (Médée, Deutsche Oper Berlin), French coach for chorus and soloists (Staatsoper and Deutsche Oper), assistant stage manager (Opéra National de Paris).

2003-2005  Assistant director, in particular at the Opéra National de Montpellier (Le Nozze di Figaro, F. Severin; Un Ballo in maschera, A. Schulin), in Ghent/Antwerp (Rinaldo revival) and at the Opéra National du Rhin (L’Italiana in Algeri,Christof Loy).

2003  Third Prize at the European Opera-Directing Competition organized by Opera Europa and Camerata Nuova in Wiesbaden.

2004  Début production as director: Il Signor Bruschino / Gianni Schicchi at the Lausanne Opera, with sets and costumes by Julia Hansen.

2005-2006  Il Viaggio a Reims in Bern, Guillaume Tell(Grétry) in Biel-Solothurn, and Albert Herring in Lübeck.

2006  Return to Paris.

2006-2007  Il Viaggio a Reims in Oviedo, La Belle Hélène at the Opéra National du Rhin, La Traviata in Bern and Pirame et Thisbé (an opera by Rebel and Francoeur, performed for the first time since 1771) in Nantes and Angers.

2007-2008  Il Viaggio a Reims (revival) in Tel Aviv, Le Comte Ory at the Athens National Opera, Il Barbiere di Siviglia in Bern.

2008-2009  La Belle Hélène (revival) in Nantes, Il Barbiere di Siviglia (revival) in Oviedo, Die Entführung aus dem Serail in Braunschweig, Rigoletto at the Opéra national de Lorraine, Werther at the Opéra national du Rhin.

September 2009:La Bohème at the Stadttheater Bern.

2010:Il Barbiere di Siviglia(revival) in Tel Aviv, Platée at the Opéra national du Rhin, Giasone in Antwerpen /Ghent. La Belle Hélène(revival) at the Opéra national du Rhin.
